Vintage 1970’s special occasion dress with knife pleats and pleated ruffle collar. Made by Jo Hanna York, this dress was a fine ladies choice for Sunday morning services or those special meeting days at the office when looking her best was important! The body of the dress is done completely in sharp knife pleats that are set in, giving it crisp and visually interesting texture. It has a sparse and tasteful floral print, done in the diagonal, with caramel and chocolate stems an leaves, green leaves, and little pops of soft red. The elastic trimmed, pleated ruffle collar is accented with bands of the soft red, and green leaves, and which is also found around the cuffs and hem. The long sleeves have elastic cuffs and the waist is gathered and defined with a small elastic band.
When measured flat across the bust is 17″, the expandable elastic waist in relaxed state is 11″, (remember to double those, possibly a bit more in the waist), and it is 42.5″ in length
