Taffeta and Chiffon together create a fantastic duet in this adorable vintage dress! Done in lovely blue and purple tones, this floral print vintage shirtwaist occasional dress is really something special. The top of the dress is a simple sleeveless tank style that peeks out underneath a ‘shirt’ of blue Chiffon that lays over top. The blue Chiffon ‘shirt’ over the purple floral fabric gives this beauty an unusual and eye catching two tone look. The top has a soft collar, with fabric covered buttons from the waist up. The long sleeves are sheer from the shoulder to the wrist, and have fabric covered button closures at the cuffs. The skirt is tea length, and has plenty of movement in the fabric starting at the waist. And, if worn with a crinoline, (not included), like in these photos, the skirt has a lovely flowy volume and added movement. This dress is shown with a belt, (that is not included), so wear without or add your own if you wish. Have fun trying different styles of belts, scarfs etc., until you find one to suit your particular taste!
