This enticing vintage maxi dress is the color of grandmother’s heirloom yellow roses. Made by Miss Elliette California in the 1960’s, this dress is quit simply the wearable definition of the word “Happy”. Done in soft dreamy fabric that is richly saturated in the most delightful shade of yellow. The sleeveless top portion is beautifully embellished with a ruffle that mostly lays flat against the dress, with just enough ‘fluff’ to give added texture and dimension to the neckline and shoulder straps. There is a perfectly done faux belt at the waist with a pressed bow that really pulls this dress together. The Swiss style skirt has the tiniest little white dots, giving the dress just a hint of a two-toned affect. It is floor length, with a fitted and figure flattering cut. The skirt has just enough movement as is flairs out slightly moving towards the hemline, and draws the eye downward in attempts to glimpse the magnificent footwear that must certainly accompany this amazing dress! In excellent vintage condition, like it just sashayed right out of the sixties!
When measured flat across the bust is 15.5″, the waist is 13.5″, (remember to double those), and it is 56″ in length
